Rodgers Xmas 2008

Taylor enjoyed Christmas and spending time with all of her family members. As we all witnessed, she takes things at her own comfortable pace and will decide to sack out in a chair when it gets to be too much! She is certainly not bored now and has busied herself with puzzles, having tea with her bears, playing with her house, and yelling Elmo, Elmo, Elmo. Although sometimes this becomes Amy, Amy, Amy, Heather, Heather, Heather. I think she is expecting you to rescue her!

Taylor & Dad

I've been trying to get a picture of Taylor in front of the Christmas tree. It is tough as she does not sit still. Todd helped out last night and I think the picture turned out well!

Santa Claus Visit

This morning we arrived early at the mall to await Santa's appearance. Taylor was in good spirits and dressed in her holiday finest. She was especially excited when she glimpsed Santa coming around the corner. She grinned from ear to ear and waved with cheer. As Santa took his position in his chair, she continued to seek his attention despite being almost five families back in line. He took notice of this, looked right at her, and waved. She waited patiently for her turn and walked by herself to Santa and sat right on his lap. She was content and smiled away. Santa asked her what she'd like for Christmas and she did not answer him. This was fine since she only answers this question with one word - pancakes. She finished her visit by accepting a chocolate coin and we were on our way. Merry Christmas to all!
