The Rodgers traveled to Disney World for our first vacation with Taylor! We had a splendid time and I'm certain you'll enjoy looking at the pictures. As you can see we visited a water park with Taylor. We could have visited a water park or hotel pool every day and she would have been pleased as peaches! She is a little water baby and loves going underwater or her version of swimming in shallow water.
Taylor enjoyed the rides at Disney. Going fast or high in the air was not a problem for her and she always wanted to "do it again." Dumbo was her favorite ride but she was riding the carousel horse without anyone holding on by the end of the week.
Waiting in lines was the hardest part of the trip for Taylor. The chains and the people kept her somewhat in line. However, it was not long before she discovered how to climb the fences, swing on the chains, or escape underneath them. Mom carried her alot (the biceps are looking good) and we did have our share of meltdowns.
What did we do when the meltdown happened? Taylor loves brooms and took care of sweeping Main Street Disney. If that didn't work, a big sucker from the confectionary did the trick.
All in all it was a good trip. However, the bet is that Taylor won't remember it in a year or two!
